Abstract
Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park opened in 2007 as a historical tourist attraction. Situated on the Siksika First Nation reserve Siksika 146, the park functions as an entertaining and educational destination for visitors looking to experience traditional Blackfoot culture. In addition to strengthening the region’s tourism industry, the park is also fully owned and operated by Siksika residents, resulting in the preservation and appreciation of Indigenous culture.
