Blue Sky Indigenous Nation Community Trust

Abstract

In this case, students are introduced to Blue Sky Indigenous Nation (BSIN) and its community trust. The case presents a situation that arose while interviewing, evaluating, and ratifying new trustees. Students are asked to consider whether the community’s process for selecting trustees had been conducted properly and whether a conflict of interest situation existed in the circumstances described in the case.
