Abstract

Shopping stressors are stressful but why they are stressful has not been explored. This gap must be addressed because consumers’ coping behaviour affects retailers as well as consumers. This exploratory research shows consumers appraise negative consequences for their time, money, physical, psychological and social well being because of shopping stressors.
