Comments on the article written by Begg (see record 2007-09635-001), in which he presents a discussion of Modern English words, focusing on the masculinity and feminity of various words. The current author suggests that we are beginning to create a better language, one that includes everyone, that affirms the equal value of all its users. The vehement response inspired by some of these changes attest to the impact they are having, but these attacks are not going to make language reform go away.
