Abstract
University students frequently experience anxiety and overgeneralization when receiving negative performance feedback. Mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) are effective for reducing anxiety and overgeneralization, but a notable drawback is that mindfulness is a skill that needs to be developed. Loving-kindness may be an effective alternative to mindfulness in this context; however, the current literature is limited.
